ART Internship Requirements

 

Educational Background

Must be a full time student or recent graduate of a University, FH (Fachhochschule), BA (Berufsakademie), with a minimum of two successful training courses completed, (2 Studiensemester), or a successful completion of an apprenticeship.

Age

The intern should be between 19-35 years of age.

Language Skills

Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

General Information

American Ring Travel offers internships for 6, 9, 12 and 18 months.

Visa Information

 

General Information

A J-1 Visa is necessary and therefore you have to find a sponsor organization. The application costs are the interns responsibility. Please keep in mind it takes approximately three months to get a Visa.

Living Conditions

 

General Information

It is the responsibility of the intern to find and finance his/her own accommodation. American Ring Travel will assist when possible; however it is recommended that interns look for a place where someone is looking for a roommate.

Transportation

A car is highly recommended. The public transportation system is different and extremely limited depending on the state.

Costs of Living

The cost of living is approximately 30% higher in California than in Florida.
